We hope you have had a chance to read the Special Newsletter that was sent on Monday. It was definitely some very Big & Exciting News. It is hard sometimes to differentiate between The Hobby Horse Quilt Shoppe & The Spence Family Farm. After all, The Hobby Horse Quilt Shoppe has lived there for Forty Years! We are very excited to be moving into Town next year and look forward to sharing our Plans with you in the coming months as they unfold.

So here is the Big and Exciting News...

This Year marks The Hobby Horse Quilt Shoppe's 40th Anniversary. And alot has happened in 40 Years. We've laughed, we've cried and we've celebrated so many great and wonderful things. And in amongst it all we've made one or two quilts.

After more than 50 years of living on our beautiful Farm, the Spence Family has decided that it is time for another Family to enjoy the Farm. This has not been an easy decision but it is the right decision. As a Family, we have been very lucky to be able to experience so much on the Farm. And now it is time to let another Family make their own memories.

So now you are probably wondering what is going to happen to The Hobby Horse Quilt Shoppe. We are very excited to announce that we are going to be moving into Georgetown next year. That's right, we'll be packing our Wagons and moving just a few miles down the road. We've got great plans in the works.

We hope you have your own fond memories of not only The Hobby Horse Quilt Shoppe but the Spence Family Farm as well. Will it be a bit sad? Yes. Will we shed a Tear or Two? Most definitely. But we are excited about the Future of The Hobby Horse Quilt Shoppe and we invite you to join on this journey to New Beginnings.
