For awhile now, the Keeper of the Kits and I have been wanting to do the Shimmer pattern by Cluck Cluck Sew as a kit. But we just didn't find the right fabric collection until SAGEWOOD by Crystal Manning showed up on our doorstep.
Don't let the photo fool you into thinking that this is a hard-to-piece project. Squares, rectangles and half square triangles all work together to create a 14" block.
This project is suitable for a Confident Beginner.
Our Kit includes the pattern, a delicate white on white Patrick Lose Fabric for the background, assorted half meter pieces (SAGEWOOD)for the piecing and a complimentary wine tone-on-tone print (CHELSEA GARDEN) for the binding.
With being a Stable Grown Kit, we have "tweeked" the requirements a bit. Instead of 10 assorted .50 meter fabrics for piecing, we thought that it would be beneficial to include 11 rather than 10. This gives you the ability to have a bit of fun with placement.
