Join Heather and learn how to paper-piece a fun and colourful, manageable-sized project. The class will teach you step-by-step how to master the fundamentals of paper-piecing, so that you can enjoy the benefits of a perfectly-pieced quilt top. The second class is for any questions or follow up help, and is therefore optional to attend.
Required supplies:
Sewing machine in Good Working Order
Basic sewing supplies - thread, snips or scissors, spare needle, pins
5 x 8” strips of background fabric(s)
8” of between 18-20 fabrics (recommendations available on request at the Hobby Horse) or equivalent yardage in scraps/FQs etc.
Rotary cutter
4” x 8” ruler (or approximately similar size)
6” x 24” ruler
One package of Scrappy Triangles Foundation papers (provided with class fee)
Glue stick
Seam ripper
Pencil and notebook
